An arrangement close to home

The Wailua Homesteads is the lush valley where our flower farm is located here on Kaua'i. From here we have views of Sleeping Giant (Nounou) Mountain to the east and Mount Wai’ale’ale to the west, one of the wettest spots on Earth, averaging over 40 feet of rain annually. It is also home of the Wailua river our state's only river navigable by boat larger than a kayak. Popular tour boats take visitors up and down the river to see spectacular views of the Fern Grotto, sacred Hawaiian sites and 'Opaeka'a falls.
