The Beehives are back!

“Early Bloom” Beehive flowers are popping up in the shady areas of our farm. When someone sees a Beehive Ginger for the first time, they always ask: “Is it real?” It seems to be carved from beeswax and their honey-sweet fragrance fills the air.

We are featuring Beehive Gingers in our “Tropical Beehive” Special and will be including them in some of our other flower arrangements. They are a seasonal flower and bloom from February through the summer months.

In this photo, the beehives are growing beneath our African Tulip Trees. The trees provide shade for the beehive gingers and drop their orange flowers into the beehive patch showing a lovely contrast in colors.
